If you watched Oprah today, you would know she delved deep into the topic of what has plagued Black women from birth to present...hair. If you didn't watch, well, now ya know lol. Anyhow, I have succumbed more than once to the dangers of relaxers on top of relaxers and color treatments on top of pressing comb do's and flat ironed wraps and lawd knows what else has landed atop my poor head. However, as of late, I have
completely liberated myself and my precious strands. I have the courage to share a few "freedom" pics now, however I must say before cutting my hair (the
BIG chop), I was NERVOUS, scared and truly confused as to what I would look like and what people would think. I wasn't sure how I would maintain it or wear it outside. But you know what?
FUDGE THEM! Who cares??!!??
I only get one life and a a few (hundred?) thousand strands and I plan to make them the healthiest, strongest, most beautiful and appreciated and loved strands, my head will ever grow! So here is to liberation, natural and healthy hair! Enjoy the pics! =) Give us FREE!! lol.
Naturally Yours,
Tiff =)
